THE MISSION
Evo Banco tasked us with designing an app that would allow users to use and manage all of their cards.
They wanted everything to be able to be completed online: requesting cards, activating them, instantly reporting a theft, paying with them, etc., and always in the most intuitive, visual and simple way.

THE CHALLENGE
From the creative agency there was an added bonus; Not only all of the services listed above had to be accessed from a mobile, but we needed to build loyalty and do it in a creative way.

CREATIVE SOLUTION
Users had to feel that the brand was adapting to them, whoever they were so we gave them the option to personalise the style of their online wallet to make it "more like them" by choosing a rocky, modern, classic, feminine look, etc. This is a fun way of engaging and building loyalty.

COORDINATION
Following the client guidelines, previous screens and answering the new needs I designed the app and updated part of their website working closely with an another designer, one PM and two developers. Daily calls were needed between us and weekly meetings with the client were very often presenting new challenges.

MY MAIN CHALLENGE
I was the new, fresh designer that just happened to appear when they needed most, since they were continuously failing with deadlines and changing priorities. I had to adapt fast and learn their way but I felt badly productive working with bad organisation. I realised that not everybody were kind to hear ideas from a new voice and that was hard for me.

WHAY I HAVE LEARNT
Small steps lead to big changes. Good organisation and consistency are key and you can not give up on them.
I decide to talked with my partner designer in the project so as to set the design system and components for the app with all what was previously established and already approved. That way, we improved the design process and save time as the project progressed.
